Dr. Byron Tabbut graduated from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and was awarded a degree in Doctor of Medicine. He completed a residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He also completed a Uveitis Fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Byron Tabbut is medically trained to diagnose, monitor and medically treat all ocular and visual disorders. This includes problems affecting the eye and its component structures, the eyelids, the orbit and the visual pathways.
Dr. Byron Tabbut has been awarded 6 times for his top notch work in ophthalmology, treating diseases such as glaucoma, cataract and retinal disorders as well as the diagnosis and treatment of the inflammatory eye disease called Uveitis.
He is a past president of the Wheaton Eye Clinic and is a member of the AOA National Medical Honor Society, American Uveitis Society and American Academy of Ophthalmology.
