Clinical Expertise

Dr. Alton Rossman provides comprehensive eye care with extensive experience in primary care optometry, disease management, and co-management of surgical procedures. Throughout his career, he has delivered full-spectrum vision care, including the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, acute eye conditions, and refractive concerns. His clinical interests also include pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, and specialty contact lens fittings, including scleral lenses.

Education and Medical Training

Dr. Rossman earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 2000 and his Bachelor of Science from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, in 1995. He brings more than two decades of optometric experience across private practice, ophthalmology-affiliated care, academic instruction, and community-based eye health services. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles, owned and operated a private practice, and contributed to the clinical education of future optometrists as an Adjunct Faculty member at Pacific University College of Optometry.

Dr. Rossman is a certified provider of the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens and a member of the Scleral Lens Education Society.

Personal Interests & Community Involvement

Dr. Rossman is passionate about service and global eye care initiatives. He has volunteered his optometric expertise through organizations such as Lions in Sight and VOSH, participating in humanitarian missions that provide vision care to underserved communities in Mexico.
